Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh began their anniversary celebrations by offering prayers at the Tirupati Balaji temple. Accompanied by their families, the power couple, who tied the knot last year, looked resplendent as they stepped out in their ethnic best in creations by ace designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee. And as expected, their pictures broke the Internet as soon as they surfaced online.
Accompanied by their families, Padukone was all smiles as she was seen wearing a heavily embellished red zardosi sari which was accessorised with a traditional temple choker set, a gold necklace and statement earrings. While she kept her overall makeup subtle, we could not help but notice the sindoor. But there is another detail that caught our eye — the fact that the sari she opted to wear on her first wedding anniversary looks strikingly similar to the one the Piku actor was gifted during her Konkani wedding rituals last year.
Check for yourself.
Styled by Shaleena Nahani, the actor looked amazing on the occasion.
Singh, on the other hand, chose to wear a white kurta and churidar set from the designer which he teamed with a white and gold Nehru jacket. The actor completed the look with a chic pair of shades. But what we loved the most about his look is how she accessorised it with gold earrings. Only he could have pulled it off with so much ease. What do you think?
